Summer Frenzy

So… What is the Summer Frenzy?

The Summer Frenzy is a smaller, shorter version of our First Draft Frenzy in November. A Mini Madness. A Brief Bacchanal. A Petite Pandemonium, if you will. 

Just like the November event, the goal is to prioritize creativity in whatever you want to focus on. The timeline is a little looser – the Summer Frenzy is a two week stretch at the end of June and beginning of July. That’s fourteen days to write a short story, crochet a hat, or paint a triptych. 

So… What do I do?

Anything! Write, draw, spin, knit, whatever creative endeavour you want! We have a Pacemaker challenge for the Summer Frenzy, so you can compete with others to meet whatever goal you’ve set. The goals might be smaller, but the joy is the same!

Check our calendar in the summer for a schedule of the in-person and online events happening during those two weeks. 

There are also two major events for our Summer Frenzy! We have the Kick-Off Cookout, a delightful BBQ in a park complete with hot dogs, s’mores, and chill hangouts to start the Summer Frenzy. Then, two creativity filled weeks later, we have the Midway Midway – an event that’s about halfway between Novembers that closes out the Summer Frenzy and includes the Suddenly Auction.
